Sony Ericsson K510i - Fortus Mobile Phone Review
Mobile Simplicity Simple and functional, with a sleek design and affordable price, the Sony Ericsson K510i is the ideal phone for budget mobile users who need a laptop with all the features of the economic base. The K510i is a great looking mobile phone with a little 'of it all. Unfortunately, this laptop does not really excel in any field. At first glance, the K510i can be easily mistaken for a high end phone. The phone is available in two colors, black, sleek and sophisticated midnight or fashionable, elegant bright purple. The K510i is a candybar phone compact, lightweight and comfortable to use. The large screen offers the highest resolution color TFT display and keypad is evenly spaced and easily distinguishable. The buttons are very small, which could be annoying for users with large fingers, and Sony has continued to use the joystick found previously restless Ericsson. The Sony Ericsson K510i mobile phone can seem like a cutting edge and is loaded with features, but the feature line of march is very basic. The camera, a 1.3 megapixel camera is perfect for the caller ID with photograph and capture images and video for multimedia, but no flash photos in low light are useless. The camera includes a variety of entertainment features of image, raster image and an image editor. The integrated music player on the K510i is typical of Sony Ericsson. It supports most common formats and sounds wonderful. The K510i will not take the place of a dedicated MP3 player, however, due to the deplorable lack of expandable memory. With only 28 MB of internal memory and no card slots, you'll be lucky to store more than 5 or 6 songs on your phone. All common productivity tools in organizational and personnel are included in K510i. A calendar, alarm clock with snooze function, support for conference calls and e-mail, Java games and are part of the feature line up. The K510i also has a wide range of connectivity options like Bluetooth, USB, fast infrared port. Battery life is average, and call clarity is fairly clear. It is clear that Sony Ericsson does not go far with this model, but have reached a comfort level with their laptops in production where you can quickly produce a quality phone without too much sweat invested. In this case, good enough is good enough, but the competition is getting stiffer and Sony have to look outside. Those seeking an excellent camera phone or finding a phone with extended functionality would probably mean anywhere. To find a great phone that is fun and easy to use, the K510i can be the phone for you. The Sony Ericsson K510i is sleek and compact, and is quite affordable. You may not have the best camera, memory is very limited for the K510i is a very useful music player, but it is a ideal laptop for those who need the basic elements of a ruggedized and quality.
